I am stuck - Help please

I have just finished the area where you're outside the cathedral and you grab a relic and then you have to race the quick sand back up. This is shortly after the little ghost guy knocks you out of the cathedral. I cannot get back to the town no matter which way I go, the jump is too high on the most obvious path back to town, and there is no where else to go in the cathedral that I can see. I have the little arrow device for my hand and have no idea what I picked up in the quick sand room. Seems like I am supposed to have an item I am missing - There are a few areas where there is in an orb in a narrow channel that I cannot access. Again, that is not my issue, I cannot find a way back to town or how to progress on the game.

Hey. You have everything you need.

The relic: Telepathy charm, can be equipped at a charm shrine
There's a charm shrine to the east, after the green timed blocks where you jump over the pit. It's either in a room you haven't been in yet (grey, if you found the map for the area), or in a room with a small charm shrine symbol on it (check the map legend for what the icon mean)

Thank you - I was in fact missing the timed green block to jump one space up in the forest. The health bottle covers it when you're right under it. Thanks again! Back on track! Great game.

Hey i'm actually stuck in the same area and I can't get out or find this missing green block? Is it in the room where you get the charm (and where the save point is)? The only 3 rooms I can access right now are the room with the charm, the quicksand room, and the hidden room to the left (but i can't jump out of it out the entrance on top)

If you wait at the top of the room with the quicksand until it reaches the top, the path to the right should open too (we meant for it to be lava, but I can see what you mean :) )
