Crashes a lot.
Game keeps crashing 2 min in game. Frames freezes instantly then crashes.
Verifying game files and re-installing the game doesn't fix it.

We are sorry to hear that. We are still trying to fix all the situations that could cause the game to crash on some systems.

Could you please let us know what system are you using and what are the specs of your PC (CPU, GPU, RAM)? This could be helpful in finding the cause of the problem.

We hope to fix the issue in the following updates.
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9700HQ CPU @ 2.60GHz
Ram: 16 GB
NVIDIA Geforce GTX
HP gaming LapTop

Game takes a bit lengthy amount of time to get from lunch to main menu screen.
Game runs pretty fast without any stutter or frame drops.
Windowed mode, full-screen. Lowering resolution/Increasing doesn't change the crash timing.

Thank you for the details. We have identified some troublemakers and now we are trying to resolve them. Hopefully one of the following updates will finally fix those crashes.

I see the same crashes. I've tried two different space ships, but game crashes within the first few minutes.

i5-7500 @ 3.4Ghz
32 GB RAM
Nvidia 1080
Windows 10, latest update

We have made some improvements in the latest update, but we haven't yet been able to confirm if they solve the crash you experienced. Perhaps you could update the game and give it a try again.
The Problem still Remains. This time, the launch screen is taking longer to respond than the lengthy amount it already take. Still crashes after 2 minutes and 41 Seconds ( I used a timer on my phone ).

I did Restart my laptop. Checked if I have any updates for my laptop. Verified game cache.
Even changed the power setting to high performance back and forth.

Attempting to record the game play to show the problem. Thing is, game crashing some how affects the recording programme causing it to crashes too and failing to save footage.

Thank you for the test. This is very insightful comment about 2 minutes and 41 seconds - did you measure that from the moment you start the game from Steam, or from the point you start the level (select "Play" in the game's menu) ?

Does it always crash after 2 mins 41 seconds?

Could you please also try if the game will crash if you just start it and do not touch anything, after the same period?

Thank you for the effort!
Here is what I have found.

Staying on the menu screen doesn't cause anything.

Spent 10 min on the starting point, kept my hands away from the keyboard for literally 10 min. Nothing happened. (The music was better than the elevator music so I managed to keep my self from getting board).

Took the first laser power up, started spinning around, shooting lasers, spamming shields for 3 min, just to make sure. Nothing happened

Took the rocked power up, same thing (3 min, nothing).

Reached the spot where the enemies start showing up, fought a few before the screen start freezing, then crashed.

Conclusion
Staying for 10 min at spawn doing nothing did delay the crash for a bit.

I may not be the first to say regarding the laser shooting sounds. Although it fires like a machine gun in shooting rate. The sfx sounds as if I am shooting in a triple shot.

Thank you for test and detailed report. We have to find a machine where we can recreate the behavior you are experiencing at every run of the game.

We'll take a look at the laser sound effects.

Once, again thanks for the effort!

We have just released an update of the game that addresses many issues that could have an impact on the stability of the game - the details will be published soon.

Please try the latest update - it may have resolved the crash you are experiencing.

Fingers crossed. :steamhappy:
I honestly feel like you guys are working hard. The situation remains unchanged. I even recorded the gameplay with one hand on a phone. I will share the recorded video.

Does steam guides allow video uploading without sharing it to youtube?

Argh, we hoped this would be resolved.

Thanks for recording the video but I'm not sure that we can see much from it - we would need a debugger running on your machine in order to see what's going on.

But we can see now that you are running the game on a laptop with GeForce GTX 950M graphics card and your graphics drivers are a bit old (NVIDIA 398.36 from mid-2018) - could you please try to update the graphics drivers to the latest one and try the game again. The current version of NVidia graphics drivers is 445.87, released on 15th of April 2020:

Thank you for the video. Does the game always crash after you destroy some object?

As I mentioned in the previous message, you should try updating the graphics drivers - there's a big chance the problem may be caused by a bug in the driver. Here's the correct link to the latest driver for your gfx card:
