How to get stingers upon entering hardmode?

I'm not sure if you can, but if not then I would just make another small world for them.

It's a drop from hornets in the jungle. No hard mode required, jungle hornet's will be more powerfull.

I was wondering if those hardmode hornets dropped them. If not, just make a new small world or something and go jump down into the jungle. Either way, why do you need stingers in hardmode?

To craft Flask Of Poison. It's a new 1.2 item.

There's a better alt for Flask of Poison- Flask of Venom, once you beat Plantera the Witch Doctor will sell Vials of Venom, which you can craft 5 with one water bottle for a Flask of Venom!

The wiki doesn't specify what that does, so I'll assume it does even more poison damage than the Flask Of Poison?

Not sure if the 1.2 hardmode bees drop it, but the ones prior to 1.2 did. Though my jungles were quickly turned into hallow or corruption, and I didn't need to collect them anymore at that point, so I can't exactly recall if they did.

However, one of the most awesome things about Terraria is how you can go to different worlds and bring things back with you to another world. So in the worst case, use your awesome character with awesome gear and go back to another pre-Hardmode world and farm stingers.
