this mini map is a nuisance and is too big. Is there a way to toggle it on and off?

the mini map would be amazning if it did not have that border, you can change the opacity of the map but not the border which is really annyoing

Someone will mod it eventually. Red will probably redesign it. It is kind of ugly.

I'd much prefer if the mini-map was rectangular rather than square too. Make it longer and easier to place.

Also you can change your resolution to somethign higher and it will make it smaller (if you can).

Yes and I wish you could move the minimap around like in Diablo 2 so it's not in the way.

All good points. It could be designed better, but all I ever use it for is to note which of my anthill-esque tunnels I died in. So Tab, it;s open for 3 secs, then Tab Tab it's gone.
