Hello guys, i am still new in this game, and i have a question. I just killed the Eye of Cthululululu twice and Eater of Worlds 3 times. I got full demonite armor and weapons. What should i do next? I cannot find and i dont know where can i find a better weapon (or craft). I cant find gold ore, and i cant really go deeper in the caves, because i dont know where i should start. I reached the "lava cave" once, but didnt find anything useful. I found the Skeletron a bit too hard, because of my weak weapon. What should i do?

Once you have a full set of Demonite Gear, your basically set for the Underworld, the only place you can get an upgrade before entering Hard Mode, in short you need to make the Nightmare Pick from the Demonite Ore and scales from the Eater of Worlds, there are only 1 stronger pickaxe in Easy Mode, and you can only get that in the Underworld, which is about as deep as you can go, apart from that you will also need a Meteor Hamaxe to break teh Furnaces you find down there, else you need to go to the underworld every time you wanna forge something from the ore you find there.

In the Underworld your looking for the Hellstone Ore, which unfortunetly is usually submerged in lava, to make things easier for yourself you should try to mix lava and water to get obsidian. also before going for the Underworld I would suggest a trip to the Dungeon, even if you find Skeletron hard, the items you can find in there are invaluable if your going deep.

Get some nice accessories and stuff from jungle. Load up on potions and stuff. Demonite is better then gold.

You should be able to take skeletron, i would suggest watching a tutorial for a skeletron fight on youtube for some pointers on how to do it.

After skeletron its floating ilands for accessories/weapons, then hell (armor/weapons/accessories). Then kill the wall of flesh for the second phase of the game called hardmode.

actually sky islands aren't as good anymore, usually just get Starfuries there now, and granted it's a completely fine sword, it's still a pain to find that all the islands contain nothing but.

no idea if it's still there and just rarer, 5/5 chests I opened so far gave me an assortment of normal loot and a Starfury

And how can i go to the underworld? Just go as deep as possible? Where the imps and lavabats are? Thanks for your answer!

Also i saw 2 meteors landed, what can i get if i mine them?

yes the firey bats imps and demons and the crazap ton of lava, the stuff your after is Hellstone, which is the orangy glowy stuff IN the lava, keep in mind that the hellstone is lava resistant, and when you mine it each block of hellstone leaves behind a halfblock of lava, which is just enough to kill ya. so be careful

Meteor armor which is the caster version of Demonite basically. You can get a space gun that shoots through enemies and uses mana. You can also get a light saber, a good axe/hammer combo and finally you can make meteor shot ammo that does more damage and bounces off walls for a chance to strike other enemies.

Meteor Tier items are basically Demonite, with 1 exception, the Hamaxe you get from the Metorite can break the Hellforges (orange glowy thingies) you need those to make Hellstone Bars from the Hellstone, and you cannot make Hellforges only collect them, so unless you get that Meteor Hamaxe you need to go to the Underworld to make Hellstone bars, also a full set of Meteor Armor allows you to use the Space Gun (also forged with meteor items) indeffinetly

Magic seems interesting, but i dont know where can i find magic weapons, i only have a ward dropped from Eater of Worlds.

Space gun is magic, and with the full Meteor set it's mana cost drops to 0, alowing you to jsut hold the trigger and shoot

Ok thank you guys, just one more question. Why havent i found iron ore yet? It is just interesting, i only have/had lead ore, but iron, no.

Lead = Iron you can get either Lead or Iron, but not both on a world, Tin = Copper and Platinum = Gold and so on

Copper <-> Tin
Iron <-> Lead
Silver <-> Tungsten
Gold <-> Platinum

Each world will have one version but not both. The stuff on the right Tin/Lead etc is actually better by a few stat points so hopefully you got all the more exotic metals. Don't worry about crafting recipes as you can use both metals to make them.
