You're the same one who said you found slenderman in terraria, so i'll take what you say with a grain of salt.

Telling us some bloody details would help, like seeds, location, soil, elevation, whatever.

Any seeds wont work, i'm trying to use them on plain dirt blocks that have the grass cut off (Plain brown blocks) and i'm on the surface.

What types of seeds did you use and where?

Try clay pots. They work wonderfully.

Mushroom grass needs to be below the rock wall in the background and on mud blocks. Jungle grass also needs to be on mud. The Crimson/Corruption will grow on any dirt.

Actually, I remember seeing a version update list linked to from Terraria Wiki that said Mushroom grass will grow anywhere now. Haven't tried it though.

I just ran terraria and tested both daybloom and normal grass seeds and both works perfectly.

make sure to:
1. aim correctly.
2. That the seed have the right soil. normal grass, holowed grass and corruption neads dirt for example while jungle grass and mushroom grass needs mud instead.
3. seeds for flowers need grass on the tile (and make sure it's the right type of grass) while grass seeds needs bare tiles.
