Can´t craft Depth meter.

I have tried doing what the wiki says but I can´t get it to work. Have anyone crafted a Depth meter in 1.2?

its a drop from cave bats i got it once

They were removed for 1.2
They're kind of obsolete now that we have a map.

The seem to have been removed, not really much point of them now because of the map though.

They made it so the depth meter is uncraftable.

what i did was i went into one of my old maps i had it in and brough it to my new map for 1.2

you should download a map that has all the items in the game in it then get the depth meter then go back to your world for 1.2

me too. I guess bats have bad depth perception

Depth meter is still in the game but you can only get it as a drop.
