Which pickaxe can I mine crimson stone with?
Or is there no pickaxe to mine crimson stone with?

The demonite and hellstone pickaxes work.

i bombed 3 of the heart down in the depths of the crimson, defeated brain of cthulhu and got some ore. i made a crimtane pickaxe out of that. much easier.

Demonnite/Crimtane(the crimison's equivelent to demonite) pick or higher will do it.

Actually, i found that you can mine crimintane with nearly any pickaxe (Im guessing, i mined it with tin) if it is in direct sunlight. I found a 2x2 vein of it and i mined it with tin.

I did it with a emerald staff (and gold armor). Was pretty easy to be honest, the Staves are awesome for the begining. :demoneye:

I had gone into the dungeon to sniff out some magic in the upper tiers and found a Waterbolt, it kinda took the brain and..... well let's just say during that fight I didn't get hit once, and I didn't move a single step.
