Kill the Brain of Cthulu, found in blood biome, break 3 hearts/craft bloody spine with 15 vertibrae.

You have to go into the crimson biome and spawn the brain of cthulu you can do this by shattering the heart orb things or with 10 vertebrae him and his eyes drop samples when killed

Ah, I see now, alrighty. Anyone know how hard the Brain of Cthulhu is? I just beat the Eye of Ctulhu without much difficulty. Think I'm ready?

He isn't too hard. Then again, i fought him with hallowed armor and a legendary excalibur...

yeah..... any pre-hardmode boss that was around pre-1.2 is gonna be easy with that gear..... but no, the eye isnt that hard to begin with really. Enchanted boomerang is a decent no ammo way to fight him. Good bow with flame arrows works well too. If you have them, throwing knives and shurikens are also good too.
