Rope climbing problem
I can go down rope I can go across rope but not UP rope. anyone know why? oh and I also yes I do press w but it doesn't work.

Check your keybindings, mine were ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up so I couldn't climb ropes or descend from platforms. After switching back to default it worked without a problem.

You most likely can't climb up, because you had changed your jump key to W instead of Space. I had the same problem and binding jump back to Space resolved it.

If you want to keep W as jump, the only way I know to climb up is by quickly tapping W and S in turns: W, S, W, S, W... It's slower and laborious though. Hopefully they'll fix it for W-jumpers soon.

What do you mean problem exists? There's a solution. Set jump back to space.

This solution is ass. We want to both jump and climb with W. Imagine having to jump with the A button and then double jump with the Y button. We just want to go upward with the same key.
