How do I turn a pump around?

I have a waterfall but the pump keeps facing right and it wont turn around... HELP?

Maybe place it while facing another direction with your character ?

They don't turn around, just make a container that directs the water flow the other way.

What are you building, may I ask? If it is decorative, say, a waterfall, try using Dirt and Dirt Walls(walls to hide the sun during the day) to hide the pump.

Well it was kinda a wall (2 wide, Tall as the world) but it looked ugly, so i wanted to make a waterfall on one side. Just for looks. It is for keeping the corruptors away from my friends and my home. It would just keep the dreary looks of the corrupt away form the wall.

to turn the pump around, just destroy it with a hammer, then place it agian while facing the direction that you want the pump to point:)

Thanks, i may as well try this, but im pretty sure i've tried it before...

the direction of the pump doesnt effect its output, the water always comes from the centre of the pump
