so i killed EoC and was going to start working on EoW and was wondering if i summoned him with worm food and killed him does he come agine if i break three shadow orbs?

Every third Shadow Orb you brea, the Eater of Worlds will be summoned. Just like every boss except Skeletron, Eater of Worlds can be summoned as many times as you want as long as you have the ability to do so.

Also, fun fact: if you use worm food while the Eater of Worlds is already summoned, you will instantly die. However, if you summon EoW with worm food and then break your third shadow orb, it is possible to fight two EoW at the same time.

Just to correct Bob on one minor detail. Using a Boss Summon item while that boss is active actually does around 10,000 damage to the player. If you use it during your Invincibility Frames, after being hit, you will not take any damage... it doesn't summon another of the boss though.

EoW can be summoned at any time of day, but can only be summoned in the corruption.

you can either make worm food or break shadow orbs.
he comes every time you break 3 shadow orbs night or day
