(SOLVED) Can the spiked balls in the Dungeon be shutdown/destroyed?
I've tried a hammer, an axe, and a bomb. No joy. Haven't tried TNT only because I can't get a precise placement while fighting off bad guys.

EDIT: Tried TNT. Didn't work. Grrr
EDIT2: From the Terraria Wiki:

"The Spike Ball is an indestructible enemy found in the Dungeon that swings around in a circle from a central pivot point (which also cannot be destroyed), and does damage to the player on contact. Separate Spike Balls can have differing chain lengths."

I think you can mine them with a strong enough pickaxe? Hamdraxe can mine it, so SOME tool has to be able to do it.
