FINALLY found the magic mirror...

After 289hrs of gameplay. I think I'm doing this wrong.

How long did it take you find this friggin mirror?

I found it in about thirty minutes.. Just use small worlds and loot gold chests

You guys are pulling my leg. Thirty minutes? An hour? Three hours? Mine was about 1200ft down in an underground jungle. :(

Well, if you are exploring the jungle, please look for a small plant on the ground. It is green with a blue tip, and it is called Moonglow. I am sure you have some blinkroot by now. If you combine a Moonglow, Blinkroot, Bottled water (Bottle crafted while standing near water), and 1 gold ore (not bar, just ore) you get a spelunker potion. That will make ore, Life Crystals, All Chests (for mirror), and pots glow distinctly. It is a great investment.

Edit: Myself, I found it underground, in a gold chest. I'm not sure if I got it or a mana crystal first.

The Magic Mirror is an item found in Chests in the Underground, Underground Jungle, Ocean, and Dungeon.

I said "exactly". That other clown suggested it was easily found by reading the Terraria Wiki. I called BS on him.

That being said, once I found one, they started appearing so regularly that I ended up with a chest full of them.
