Well, you did roll mediumcore. The price you pay.
Losing important Items is the same as dying with an Hardcore Character, makes no sense to me to play mediumcore then, when I get the same outcome.
That's really stupid. Mediumcore is described as dropping items upon death. It's not described as losing items permanently. The price you pay should be the sticker price - not something much larger.
Re-acquiring an inventory full of post Moon-Lord loot is much more difficult than getting a character to 500 hp and 200 mana.
