How to make night last longer?

Pumpkin moon just ends before anything good happens on single player... I get up to spawning the pumpkin king and the day begins despawning the event... sorta annoyed... kill everything when it spawns and still no time... :/ anyways how would i go about extending this time period?

I haven't seen it yet....but JEEZ how much longer do you need? Night lasts like...what, 10 whole minutes?

i played 2 nights to no success too... maybe you cant beat it? you just go until death.morning, and hope for loot, like scare crow hats, or spooky wood farming.

I have a lovely little trap set up, so if I can't make it tonight, I'll use it again at the brink of night.

Also mourning wood is broken. It glitches through walls and floors and shoots with 100% accuracy through any material and I keep getting killed because it does ONE HUNDRED DAMAGE per hit

Also they spawncamp so I literally CANT MOVE

Just finished it in singleplayer. I killed the Pumpking 5 times in a single night, he spawns over and over again. Got a weird scroll and a horseman sword.

OK so I may need to make a separate arena/trap specifically for the damn mourning woods. They seem to have the same ability to move through solid blocks as Phantoms, and they also can't fly. However, they have insane amounts of HP, damage, and every attack they have goes through walls. Maybe I have to use lava, my spike balls don't even slow them down.

I simply beat the lunar event b4 the pumpkin moon, got to wave 15 first try solo without any arena
