Trouble Opening Doors

Everytime I click on the door to open it, it doesnt open. It rarely opens, and theres is nothing blocking it at all. This is very wierd, is this a glitch?

No torch or someting? Try facing the other direction when opening it.

The door opens depending on the direction you are facing... and if you are facing in such a way that the door would open into you... then it won't open.

That's not the issue, doors open right through players.

Usually the issue is something blocking the door on the furniture item placement level. Things like torches, chests, wooden pillars, furniture items, etc.

I am having the same issue! I can NOT get the doors to open. There is nothing around the doors. I have tried facing both directions. I have even made sure that the doors are on a wooden floor and not just dirt.

I normally play the mobile verson on my ipad. I wanted to try out the Mac version. Is this a glich in the game or a glich in my downloaded game or am I just doing something wrong?



EDIT - finally plugged in a seperate mouse from keyboard (have track pad) and low and behold, right clicking with mouse opens doors!

No, he means the door won't open if it's blocked on the side you are facing. Say, by a table.
