Anyone know when Twins and Skel Prime will spawn?

I'm just wondering if anyone knows when the game considers you 'ready' to fight them and starts spawning them at you every other night, wether you're ready or not... Frankly we have Mechanical items to summon them so I still don't get why the game spawns them and forces us to fight them regardless of what we may be doing or working on. ie building a house? Too bad, fight the Twins now.

I'd like to know what qualifies as 'ready' to fight them so I can avoid getting that gear until I'm actually ready to fight them. There must be some specific point or triggers where they start getting spawned at night.

It considers you ready if you're in hardmode I believe. It's just a really low chance to spawn.
My first night in 1.2 hardmode summoned the twins, but I've never had a single automatic spawn of any hardmode boss since then.

And do they stop spawning randomly in HM after you kill them like the Eye? You're lucky, I've had to stop playing the game entirely because they spawn so much on me.

it will give you the warning message at least 12 in-game hours before they spawn, IIRC

I dunno. It threw Prime at me right before morning hit. It seems more like they just hurl them at you randomly until all three are dead.

As for triggers, nothing but being in hardmode.

Then I guess I better get right on that Skeletron Prime arena next time I play. As for the Twins, atleast you can magic mirror yourself away from them and escape.

Twins spawn on the massage "This night will be a terrible night." and Skeletron Prime "You feel the air get colder around you." And you cant really tell when its going to happen couse i got the message about the sekeletron in my first hardmode night ;d
