It'd be a lot easier with the clentaminator, but there's too much to gain from a world tainted by corruption/crimson/hallow so I don't think i'll ever try.

i was going to make containment areas to hold corrupt and hollow farms

It would take a few days(weeks?) and using an inventory editor, but imagine someone rigging the entire world to blow lols.

I doubt you can completely purify a world,(Without seriously terraforming it) as long as one title of hallow/corruption exists the cycle keeps going.

Well, if you kill plantera, the spread rate of the hallow/crimson is redused to preharmode levels.

It wouldn't be hard at all if you just start a new Small world, then Clentaminate all the corruption/crimson.
