Best armour

I don't know what the best armour is. I know that the turtle armour has the most defense. But what is the best?

Really the "best" armor is your own personal decision to make. If you want to look at armor statistics side-by-side, theres a fully functioning Terraria wiki online. Honestly i dont know why more people dont use it. I see all sorts of guides put out containing information that would be so much more accessible on the wiki.

turtle armore would be good for most of the boss fights

You forgot to mention tiki set. Having 6x 30-40 damage per second and a hydra that gets a lot more dangerous is now officially a valid armor set. The defense on that set is also pretty good, Better than spectre at least and damage wise you can use whatever you want but minions are your main source of damage.

Yeah the Tiki set is pretty cool, but I don't really find it good for bosses, but I love it when I'm down the dungeon or soemething find it really useful down there.

No such thing. If there was a best then one no one would use any of the other armor options.

Spectre armour

Frost, Spectre, Tiki, Turtle, Shroomite.
Frost for Range-Melee combo and increase on crits
Spectre for Mage
Tiki for Minions
Turtle for Defense
Shroomite for Range
