Moth Farming?

Hello,

After recently entering hardmode, I realized I probably needed wings. The butterfly wings looked the most absurd, and therefore, I set a goal to collect butterfly dust. Moths from the jungle have a 50% chance of dropping them, but I can't even get them to spawn, considering they're 'rare'. Is there any way to farm them easily?

Battle potions and a water candle to increase spawn rates, is the only thing i can think of.

Do battle potions and water candles stack? As in, can I have them both active at the same time? If so, I'll have to try that out.

I've got two butterfly dust if you want one. Make it easier. Don't listen to me if you don't want a hand-out, though.

Yeah, they both stack. Though remember water candle only works while you're holding it. If you place it down on a platform or something the effect stops working.

butterfly dust drops a lot, 50% chance from any moth. So it's less work than most of the other wings...

Yeah, the drop chance is great - but the difficulty lies in getting the moth to spawn in the first place.

they're not so bad, you'll be spending so much time in the jungle for queen bee, plantera, chlorophyte, altar chests, and gemstones anyway. I have more butterfly dust than I have a use for.

after farming for hours beating the mechanical bosses several times and using both battle and candle i havent found one. Theyre pretty bad
