fire feather drop rate

has any one gotten a fire feather drop since the last update? I donno if it's SUPER rare or maybe the drop on it is broke >.< i spent 4 hours killing red devils and got at leats 6 tridents but no feather. if it's just rare then i don't mind but i wanna know if i'm just farming down there for nothing or if it just takes a long while >.<

Like with all drop rates in this game, you must kill tons of mobs to get anything. Its ultimate grinding game, and there is not even a potion or item that will alter drop rates and make the grind shorter, no you must grind for everything, and better build afk grinding machines with traps and keep the game on all the time in the background.

I got one a long time ago, but not after the update. I was looking for the Magma stone and an Unholy Trident. Really, hardmode underworld has some really nice drops and the monsters are fairly even in spawn rate.

TBH the games all luck. I had to kill wall of flesh 40+ times for 1 ranger emblem and thats when i found my flame feather.

With more and more drops from the same mobs game needs some potion or item that will increase the drop rates, to make that grind a little less tedious.

Got one yesterday while i was farming the wall of flesh for a mage emblem. It's strange, that one took the most time in compare to the others.

That's weird, because I've gotten 3 ranger and 3 mage but no warrior yet.

I wish i had just one mage emblem :D 10 ranger and 3 warrior, 3 clockworks, 4 laser rifles and 2 breaker blades.

the feather has a flat 1.33% chance of dropping, have fun killing those things.

Well, you could use a Battle Potion. It would increase the chance for the devil to spawn.

nu i think they are like 33% but in a way rare since you can only get them from ice golems durring a blizzard. I have like 6 of them X3

and FINALLY! after 7hrs i has my fire feather X3 matches perfectly with my rune robe and hat <3
