Drill Containment Unit From Sky Crate?

My cousin and I have been playing a new Terraria game with neither of us having much experience in the game. My cousin was trying to get UFO mounts for the both of us from the sky crates. First sky crate he opened, he got a UFO mount AND a Drill Containment Unit. I've looked on the wiki and there is no information between the Drill Containment Unit being dropped from the sky crates. It seems too powerful to be achieved this early into the game, I've also seen on the wiki that you need to beat the Moonlord at least twice before even obtaining it. Can someone please explain this to me.

Either cheated in using a glitch/console command, a mod was used to change something or he secretly brought it from another world (which i suspect is the case). The Drill containment unit can only be legitimately obtained by using a whole bunch of different end game bars to craft it (including the final boss). Additionally the UFO mount is a rare boss drop can only be obtained from the Martian Madness event that occurs randomly post Golem boss towards the end of the game. Sky crates do NOT legitimately spawn either of them.

Neither item can be obtained from any crate. Your cousin cheated in the items or brought them over from an all items world they downloaded (same difference really). You are correct that those items are too strong to have that early, because you need to kill minibosses in the hardest random event in the game for the UFO mount, and you need to beat the final boss multiple times for enough material to craft the DCU.

My advice? If you don't like the way the game has been broken open (and it will be broken wide open. The DCU will open up multiple progression skips and an infinite flying mount will render most boss fights trivial) confront your cousin with the knowledge of their cheating and if they still deny it, stop playing games with them. It's no fun playing with someone who doesn't want to follow the same rules as you.

Or if you're feeling spiteful, download an all items world of your own and grab a full set of one of the stellar armors and tools. Say you found it in a golden chest underground or something. See how much they like that.

ahahahah reminds me of me when i only started playing terraria, being so excited about these cool items,
that's what so great about terraria, you could just explore the map, build and experience the amazing end game gear, without following the story at all, and still have so much fun.

this game is like this, no matter what you do in it, it's fun, and everyone has their taste.

shame that he lied to you, tell him to either give you some items too or set boundaries!!

Hey guys, thanks for all the help. I would've never known he brought this stuff from another world without all of you guys letting me know. I confronted him and he denied it the first couple of times but I eventually got him to confess.

tip:
you can use TEdit, which is basically mspaint for terraria maps,
you can create buildings, draw blocks, add any items with any modifiers to any chest, anywhere,
you can change the default spawn location, you could add npcs, copy paste buildings,
do whatever you want.

Kinda dumb , why didn't they just ask if they could use them ?

Yeah they are overpowered but who cares , it's your own playthru not some competitive sport so I don't see anything wrong with using end game items if it makes you happy.

The real problem is the lying , I hope your cousin learns to quit lying , pretty soon no one will trust them , liars suck.
