hi guys, how can i obtain a Broken Hero Sword? Is it a drop from a boss?

I think you can only get it on the Eclipse night from the mobs :D I want it to lol

Its like the blood moon night but it dont come round as offten... I'm not 100% sure to be honest your best bet is looking on the wiki for more info.. I spend alot of time on there for info.. :D

Lie, they only drop from frankensteins and swamp things which are actually the weakest monsters in the event rofl...

Randomly? there is no crafting item to get this "eclipse"? i have many hours and i never got it (i've already defated WOF)

No, after you defeated at least 1 hardmode boss, every following day has a 4% chance to become a solar eclipse. You can go to http://terraria.gamepedia.com/Solar_Eclipse to get more info.

You can't 'summon' blood moons either. You just have to be patient.

I adhere to thinking that eclipse is an random events in Terraria.Just need more sufferance:)

I don't think they are so rare anymore. Last eclipse I was in ended up dropping 4 of these things.

I got 5 on my last eclipse, so yeah, I don't think they're that rare either.

Well considering that you only need 3 broken hero swords, any more after that and it will seem like extra or no more rare drop.

I have been through 2 solar eclipses where none dropped, and 1 where 3 dropped. the other two, 1 dropped each time.

Have you downed Plantera yet? You won't get an eclipse if you haven't beaten her yet.

There's talk of a summon-item to spawn a Solar Eclipse since they're random and some people haven't been getting them (I haven't ♥♥♥♥♥♥ one yet either!) but at the moment it's purely chance.
