Meteor heads will work.
it does not.
That works as well, though it is unneffiecnt.
Been trying to figure out where I got mine. I randomly saw it in my inventory and was not sure where the hell it came from.
I find it funny on how fast it hits.
1/2000 drop.
You have killed over 100,000 zombies. K.
And the wiki says they drop from LOTS of different monsters, like goodie bags.
Got mine in underground hallow+ice or something.
Pretty sure normal farming techniques should work.
That's not what the wiki says, it says only WEAK enemies drop them.
I haven't gotten a single one since they existed, and I only have one Bloody Machete.
Thats not how % RNG loot-tables work.
You could kill 1 zombie and it could drop.
You could kill 500,000 zombies and never see it drop.
It is just that each and every time you kill a zombie, it has that specific (1 / 2000) chance to drop. The total number killed is not cumulative or involved in any way.
Just because something has a 1/1000 chance does not mean it will automatically drop after you try 1000 times at least once. This is how Gambling thrives on those who do not understand the basic principles of percentages %.
For instance, go try the TF2 Crate Unboxing simulator. Most crates have a 1% chance of giving you an 'Unusual' item when opened, which is what people desire. However, through simulation and real experience, many have had to open hundreds if not thousands of crates to find even one.
Doing something multiple times, such as farming a specific monster for a specific drop, increase the odds of finding the item you want because more occurences for the drop to occur happen, since you are killing more of the monster(s).
As opposed to just randomly killing that monster once and hoping it'll drop.
However, the difference between your cumulative odds of success and the actual % chance to drop is that the % drop chance (1/1000) remains the same.
