So new summoner item allows for more summons?
You can combine now the hercules beetle and the necromantic scroll. I have tested that a second hercules beetle since they are no longer the same item increases damage further so I'm hoping this means another necromantic scroll will include another summon minion.

It will, it's how items like this work. Summoner got slightly buffed by it, but it's still an underpowered class.

Still nice to know it helps a bit. Really it would be nice if the pygmy necklace could be combined with something. maybe the +12% damage emblem but would add even more summon damage.

You can not equip 2 of the same 'incrased minion' items.
You can however stack Necromantic Scroll, Pygmy Necklace, and Papyrus Scarab. (each adds 1)

Sorry by another necromantic scroll I meant another one since one was put into the scarab. Not equipping two at the same time. Does +% damage on accessories increase summon damage?

Sorry, I misread your earlier comment. Papyrus Scarab is that combination.
As for % damage increasing minion damage, it will. The damage must be "+X% damage" or "increse your summon damage by", but either of those type of mods will work.

oh hell I never even tried combining scroll with papyrus.

Probably won't work though.

Necromantic Scroll combines with the Hercules Beetle to make the Papyrus Scarab, an item that literally gives the combined benefits of both items, had an eclipse just after making the stuff and I just stood still in an open field thile my crows just massacared EVERYTHING as soon as it came on screen when i where wearing full Spooky, and had the accessories: Necklace, Scroll, Scarab and Beetle equipped, all reforged to Menacing.

as soon as I get my npc's back from a suprise visit by the Destroyer I will test it on a Pumpkin moon
