What is your technique for Goodie Bags? :D

Im curious on how you guys/girls gather your Goodie Bags. What is your technique that you are willing to share? :3

Get plenty from Pumpkin Moon, Blood Moon, Pirate Invasion, Goblin Invasion, and Frost Legion events.

Either Pumpkin Moon, or I have an arena equipped with Water Candles that I go too whenever there's a Blood Moon or Solar Eclipse. I can usually get ~7 on an average Blood Moon and ~12 per Eclipse.

Really, goodie bags drop so often from random enemies that you don't really need to farm them, just keep doing what you were doing before.

I farm the ocean animals, getting Pirate Maps, thus spawning Pirate Invasions. I also go to the hallow/ dungeon/ lihzard and hold a water candle with a battle potion buff.

Go to Corruption, dig a small tunnel just under the ground level and drop some lava in a thin line above the tunnel. Make sure the lava line's depth is shallow enough to damage monsters (or you), so the items that drop will not be destroyed.

Put some Watercandles in the tunnel and maybe hold one in your hand. At night time you can get at least 3 bags, on a Bloodmoon you can get even 6 bags.

You don't even have to fight, just stand still and the monsters will die in the lava by themselves.

I farm in the dungeon with water candles and with battle potions to get ectos and then i do pumpkin moon everytime i dont have a blizzard or a blood moon <.>

i have everything from the pumpkin moon now (only raven staff missing) and only farm now items for my friends and for bags ;)

i also have chests for my friends with gifts in it or like 7 chests with the goodie-bag-costumes 3x. so they can choose :)

the Bat stuff really helps to fight the pumpkings and when you cant switch from key to key quickly enought, like Yri', you can just make a mega farm with: heart-latern-things, campfires, water candles, honey and water to make buffs like *on fire* disappear.

and lava, enought lava for the first waves.

but dont forget: only 10 buffs allowed and you maybe need a slot for *on fire* and one for the potion. and dont forget the right accessories.....

Haven't tried anything yet, but I suspect king slime might be a good way to farm it, because of all the slimes it spawns.

Why'd you necro this? And the Halloween Goodie Bags are out? Haven't played Terraria in a few days.
Farming invasions or EoW seems like a good strategy.
