Crimson Altar Bug

I killed the wall of flesh, i have thee pwnhammer, and i cannot break crimson altars. Im lost, what do i do?

In all seriousness, did hold down mouse 1 while trying to break the Altars? Also does the tooltip say "Strong enough to break Demon Altars?" If it is there... then... I have no clue...

yeah im on the world i killed the wall on, the pwnhammer says strong enough to break the altars but it just doesnt break

I'm trying to see if i can spawn truffle, and buy his hammer to try it on the altars, but i cant find enough mushrooms, let alone the fact that idk if i know how to build a surface mushroom biome

Just find the biggest underground mushroom biome you can, collect some mushrooms (for when you want shroomite, if you do), collect mushroom seeds, collect mud, and make a surface mushroom biome.

Are you sure you killed WoF? you didn't get the hammer via InvEdit? because that won't work. Just asking.

yeah i threw the doll in the lava and fought it over the huge ass bridge i made, and got the pwnhammer after he died and made that block thing wher the items were in

Did you get a message about the spirits of light and dark? The world entering hard mode is what makes the altars breakable.

Did you get the message ""The ancient spirits of light and dark have been released." after you've killed WoF? maybe it's a bug, and your kill didn't count. My suggestion, kill it again.

The mushroom hammer does work on Altars.

i use the chlorophyte warhammer to break Altars myself..

Just tested a pwnhammer on an Altar and it still works.. You may have to defeat another Wall for it to take effect if restarting the game didnt fix it.

Never tested that, but supposedly, I cant se anny problem with it.
Just stay low so you dont get anny wyverns. They are a pain for low tier players.

By the way, do hardmode mobs spawn now that you killed the WoF? If not something is off.

here's no height limit anymore. If you just replace a patch of ground with mud, just 1 layer will do, and plan mushroom seed you'll have a full biome before you know it.

Well, if you take damage when you try to break the altar with a Pwnhammer or better then you need to kill WoF again. If you don't take damage and it's still not breaking, hold down the mouse and don't let go. I've found if you just click for each individual hit, it sometimes won't break.

yeah i got the light and dark spirits message, idk if i got any hardmode mobs. I'll see if i can find another voodoo doll, but i havnt found any voodoo demons so far.
