How do i update?

So I can't update Terraria for the Halloween update for some odd reason. Suggestions why?

Are you up to 1.2 because that is the Halloween update (I'm pretty sure). If not that, then go to your games list, right click Terraria, go to properties, and then try to check the integrity of the game files.

I ended up reinstalling it any idea how to replace my new files with my old ones?

i cant update either, ive tried reinstalling it and when i check the integrity of the game files it says it failed

I cannot update either. I am still on V1.1.2. I have reinstalled and also have performed the integrity check. This showed up as failed, however, it then did not re-download after that.

Anyone have any ideas?

OK, so after a bit of playing around. I went to the Steam menu and into settings. From there I clicked on the Downloads tab and changed my download region. Restarted steam and within a minute or two a couple of my games started updating - including Terraria! It is now on version 1.2.1.1

i got it too, but i uninstalled steam then i reinstalled it

If you didn't back up your old ones and they got deleted, then there's not much I can help you with.
