Honey Balloon not working???

ok so i tried to combine the honey comb thing that makes it so when enemies hit you bees come out, plus a shiny red balloon and it doesn't exist as an option, yes they were not equiped am i the only one who noticed this? or is this only happening to me fyi im in pre-hard mode

I am not sure of how far into the game you are, but you need the tinker's workshop in order to create the honey balloon. (you buy it from the NPC goblin tinkerer after you beat the goblin army)

yeah got the tinkerers it's just an annoying bug :D

Unless you're a completionist, it seems pointless. Wings or spectre boots pretty much render balloon pointless, and if you're going to use a honeycomb, it's dumb they'd make you combine it with something that doesn't have an on-hit effect.

Personally, I prefer the Honey Cloak. But by the time you beat Destroyer, the Honey Comb is pretty weak, and there's more important accessories to equip.

No, honey comb is OP. Nerf it.

This is a known bug; you can't craft the Honey Balloon pre-hardmode, so if you want one you'll have to activate hardmode first or else get one from a friend. It'll probably be fixed in a future update.

Everytime i get hit they do like 30 more damage everytime im hit, even though thats not much, combined with a item i can't remember the name of (it makes u have 2 seconds of invincibility after being hit) and walking on meteorite bridge makes me invincible to the boss plus my bees help do about 10 damage per second

Blocks that do fire damage (like meteorite) have been patched so you can no longer be invincible while standing on them.

Yeah, it's a debuff now. Too many people were exploiting it. Your (rfco's) comment made it seem like you actually attempted it with the honey comb which clearly isn't possible.

I havent attempted it although ive seen people do it (without honey balloon)
