Candy Corn Rifle vs Megashark

I have both, but don't know which to use. Although the Cany Corn ammo is dirt cheap, money's not an issue. I've got an Unreal Megashark. And a Superior Candy Corn Rifle (I plan to reforge).
Or should I just wait for the S.D.M.G?

I personally would go for the Unreal Megashark it has fast speed and it has a chance to not waste a bullet

megashark can use chlorophyte bullets...nuff said

Candy Corn Rifle has higher base DPS and can pierce enemies, but Megashark can use different bullet types and has a much longer range. Neither of them is really "better" than the other, they just have different situational uses.
