Less Transparent Inventory

Is there a setting or a mod to make the inventory and chest inventory screens less transparent, preferably completley opaque? Have a hard time seeing the inventory\chest inventory screen's

Oh, this so much. Every time I play after a break the transparency drives me crazy until I get mostly used to it.

I hate struggling to make out what is where.

I have no problem with the current inventory / chest tabs transparency, though some items ARE a bit tricky to see (the tiny ones, like the sunglasses, unicorn horn or the pirate eye-patch)

I wonder if this could be modded ... maybe the interface graphic if nothing else. Time to find a modding guide ...

Hey guys, took me a while but I made a tad bit darker Background inventory boxes. About 30-40 % better visibility. No color change, just added contrast. Hope it helps somehow.

#:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Terraria\Content\Images
Don't forget to backup.

There are mods for this, it isn't an uncommon complaint. Zangrum just posted one, but you can probably also find some in Terraria Online's modding section.

Sorry to resurrect this post. Is there a way you can let me know which files you edited? The link is very old and is dead now. I played around with some files in the \Images directory but none of them seem to change the inventory.
