Voodoo Demons not spawning in Hard Mode?

I've spent some time this week down in hell trying to farm me up some Red Devils, and I noticed the lack of Voodoo Demons down there. Do they just not spawn in Hard Mode at all now?

yes they do they just take a while to get them to come out. well... at least for me they come out!

They only appear to spawn if your guide is present. Try waiting for your guide to spawn if you want to re-summon Wall of Flesh for Destroyer Emblem/Fire Gauntlet/Sniper Scope

if there is a guid go to the under world and wait if u killd im all ready .........well u will have to wait

My guide has been alive the whole time, since I have yet to find another voodoo demon. I went into a new world, and they spawn pretty often before putting this new world to hard mode. I then spent another 3 hours down there to not see a single voodoo after the guide respawned. I've got Water candles around and using Battle Pots to increase enemy spawning, and no luck.

I'm beginning to think they didn't fix them spawning in Hardmode.

Sometimes, they do take forever to spawn. Yet it's not the guide's absence that causes them not to spawn. Probably just have to keep staying in the area.

They do spawn in hardmode, but because hardmode mobs get added to the list of possible spawns, an already rare mob, the Voodoo Demon, becomes even rarer.
