How to get PALADINS HAMMER!!!

its been takeing me forever to get palidins hammer so much that i got the key looking sword from final fantasy!! anyone know the drop rate?

It's a 2.80% drop from Paladins. It's not that hard to get if you hang out in an area where they spawn.

Trust me, the Paladin's Hammer is insanely good...It's even better than Terra Blade IMO.

The Keybrand is a reference to Kingdom Hearts, not Final Fantasy...

It's a really low drop rate (especially since they recently lowered it even more), so just fight as many Paladins as you can. When I farm the dungeon I always find a room large enough that I can grapple the ceiling without seeing the floor, place a Water Candle nearby, and then hang there and shoot downward at random. I can usually get a few Paladins to spawn that way, and although I've only gotten the Hammer once I've gotten two or three Shields.

But its from a rubbish console "game". Cant expect real gamers to know where such tripe comes from :P (In reference to the Keyblade)

In any event, I wish they'd add more PC themed references. Perhaps Boo, Minsc's miniature giant space hamster from Baldurs Gate. Or perhaps a mini Diablo'esque demon pet. Maybe Morte from Planescape : Torment or the Translocator from Unreal Tournament.

On a more serious note though, I'd just personally love more summoner type items. Definitely my favourite 'sub-set' class of stuff to use.

You my friend, have great taste in RPG's. Maybe add a Roman name to one of the NPC's, and then there lines are only "Wanna go bowling?". Also when do you see a Space hamster I haven't gotten very far in Baldurs Gate.

The paladin's hammer really is just an oversized boomerang, I believe the possessed hatchet even does more damage if not as much dmg.

Paladin's Hammer and the Possessed Hatchet are identical in damage and attack speed.

That said, the Hatchet has lower velocity and less knockback, but it is longer range and can home, but it only hits one target before returning. Could hit more on the way back though. The Hammer has shorter range, but always extends it's full range and does go through mobs.

They're both very good and very situational.

Just keep farming. I could complain about the Paladin's Shield in the same way. I've waxed many Pallies and have gotten 2 Hammers. Still waiting for my shield.

Don't suppose you'd be willing to sell one of those hammers? I'm on at least 100 paladin kills and have had a dozen shield drops.

Same, so many, and only 2 hammers, ... and 1 shield. That said I also helped farm with someone else some of that time, and they managed to get 3 or 4 shields and 1 or 2 hammers. RNG is.. well, RNG. xD
