in terms of gameplay terraria is easily 20 times better than minecraft but not as good for building

Great game, slow at first but picks up and is very indepth. Best to play with friends though in my opinon. Look into starboud aswell. by the same group of people and is more quest/ story driven. i have yet to pick up starbound but have heard amazing things and will be picking it up here soon.

Best game ever, better then minecraft easily.
with 1965 items and counting, the only thing that makes Minecraft anything compared to this is the 3D part.

It's still fun to play on your own ! But, it's like 10x better with other people involved!!

It is strangely rewarding.I would definitely recommend using information from the internet to play. There is almost no guidance in game and figuring out the complexities all by yourself will progress you very slowly.

to tell you the truth the beginning is so boring coming from a guy who played through 3 times but after the beginning it picks up so quickly including if you play with friends

Depends on what kind of player you are. If you like killing monsters and bosses with spells and guns and stuff, then yeah this game is for you. But if you are more into building things than killing things, then I would reccomend Minecraft over Terraria, as the 3D gameplay Minecraft has allows you to make way more fascinating sculptures and buildings.

All comes down to what kind of player are you.
