You might not have been using "inventory edit" but you have been using inventory editing, which is basically the same thing.
Someone else might simply have made backups of their world, taken a bunch of rare items into their character's inventory and then replaced the world file with the backup (the one with all the items still in it).
It's extremely easy to cheat in this game. Shame, because many people are ruining their own gaming experience.
Oh, and they come here and complain when their world has disappeared because the file is corrupt, too. Brilliant.
but how do we select a spific item do u just click on it.
Copy that specific world file to a temporary location.
Re-enter the game and pick up the item(s) from the chest and exit the game.
Copy over the world file from the temporary location which had the items still saved in the chest overwriting the more recently saved world file.
You now have the items on your character and in the chest.
