Corrupted Snow Biome!
I finally got the corruption under control mostly but it corrupted a snow biome to the left of my spawn. I was so tired of digging helevators that I just tried using tedit but it doesn't remove the purple snow blocks, especially underground. I don't mind if the snow biome gets corrupted, but will it spread to my grass biome? My mine is very near to the underground snow corrupted biome, and I'm scared it'll spread to the stone and dirt blocks. Should I just dig another few hellevators and blast it with green solution?

Maybe I should just dig a hellevator from the bottom of the dungeon and move to the beach -_-

Is there a biome that the corruption can't spread through?

dungeon blocks
Yeah but that isn't a biome. Is there anyway I could use dungeon blocks to contain the corruption?

I also looked at my world and it seems I can make another hellevator to contain the corruption on the right.

Yes, mine the dungeon blocks and surround the corruption/hallow/crimson in it, in a 3 block thick layer. BAM contained.
Not quite as simple as that. Killed wof a while ago and neglected the corruption until recently. There are pockets of corruption all over the world. I'll try to salvage my spawn grass biome and a mushroom biome and the beach next to the dungeon. A three block gap would also work lol I don't need dungeon blocks.
It seems I have the corruption contained okay, and I have saved 30 percent of my world which I am pretty happy with. But I have a question about those thorn bushes. Can they grow undergound? I have three block wide shafts but maybe I should line the three block wide shafts with dungeon blocks? I think I'm safe becasue there's the corruption and then the hallow (which doesn't spawn thorn bushes) and then my base. And the corrupted snow biomes don't make thorny bushes.
