What weapon should I use? (Pre-hardmode)
I have two weapons that I can't decide between using. Nights edge, and Dark Lance. Right away some people will say Nights edge, but I like both because of the good things they both have. My Nights edge is non-enchanted (But that can be fixed0 and my Dark Lance is Superior. Dark Lance does 36 damage, but has a great range. While my Nights edge does 50 damage, and everyone knows its range. So I was wondering, which one should I use? Note: My hotbar is filled already with one of them, so I can only use one. And yes, my pic, axe, torches, and pots arn't on it.

nights edge, 1 its the best sword for pre-hardmode. 2 its a great starter for hardmode. 3 it requires less percision. 4 it emits light per swip. 5 it is required for crafting a much powerful sword later in hardmode, with its own ranged abilities. 6 (persenal) it lookes pretty sweet.

yeah what Divine said cant go wrong with Nights Edge and if you get the goblin npc he can recraft it so it has 50 dmg plus extra stats like blade size speed etc :zombiehead:

Actually, right after the start of a hardmode you can get yourself a mushroom spear that is really way over Dark Lance, so stick to the Night Edge. It is better against those pesky flyers anyway.

Nights Edge it's the bes pre-hardmode sword.

Personally, I actually use both. NE in Slot 1, DL in Slot 2. Nothing wrong with a little variety in your life. Use NE for the big stuff and DL for the small things.

Waterbolt ALL the way! Its a great wep, easy to get, pretty low mana costs, does hell of alot of dmg, penetretes, bounces, and well.. its awesome.

Did you even read the post? It was about two weapons.
