Does anyone else agree? I mean, all they give you are candy cane blocks and the snow globe to summon the weak Frost Legion. And they don't even stack, which is the most annoying thing! I come back from AFK farming and all that's in my inventory are these lame presents.

The least they could do is have a rare chance to give a cool item or weapon or something. But no. Would be nice if you could turn them off or something. I know you could change the date on your computer, but that's just unnecessary.

Not at all. Very good for those who are not afk farming and will handle them in inventory accordingly.

You may need to not AFK farm for a few days if you don't want to change your PC clock.

Or do a half-way AFK by checking now and then to clear out your inventory.

That'll change soon enough when the Christmas Update goes live... But yeah, they're kind of useless at the moment, unless you desperately need tons of corruption-proof blocks

I agree, im sick of being spammed presents whenever i go fighting. I mean, the blocks look really good but the spam is just annoying.

I have to constantly keep trashing them. I have a chest full of the crystal balls to summon the frost legion and I got about a chest filled with red/green christmas blocks. It gets repetitive just throwing them away.

I've got to admit I was disappointed to see they didn't really do anything (colored blocks and an NPC with very limited stuff), and then heavily annoyed when I realized I'd be picking the damn things up everywhere for as long as the holiday period lasts.

This isn't an event... it's *littering*. Really wish there were some way to tell the game "enough".

you can put a dirt block in each space of your inventory or 1 of each item youre farming.. plus a quick and easy cleanup..

Except for not stacking with the same color their fine. They are the only source of candy cane blocks and that alone makes them worth it. Once hard mode acivates they can also drop a snowglobe that summons a wave event that if beat allows you to move a santa npc in (he sells santa costume and christmas lights) The waves itself only drops snowblocks and nothing else which makes it not worth doing more than once unless you need snow

I forgot..they don't even sell for any amount of money. If they were worth a few silver or even copper it wouldn't be that bad.

They are absolutely annoying, I'm constantly throwing them into the trash, especially when building, every other slime drops one and upon walking to the left or right, my inv becomes filled with them. I wish they could make them spawn at less occurences, besides the blocks aren't even that amazing, and only 2 different types, come on now. I agree that they should atleast drop a winter-themed item or something found within ice chests, such as the Snowball Cannon.

Well now that there is a new update, presents have better items and stack now. Thank goodness.

haven't seen a new hook yet, thou there are some new thrown weapons, a lot of vanity items, and pine. Also found an acessory to prevent cold/feezing effects.
