How to make Obsidian Bars?

Hi! I've got around 70 Obsidian Ores. Every web source/wiki so far have been saying that you need 4 to craft Obsidian Bar in the Furnace, yet somehow I can't find the option to craft the Obsidian Bar while being next to the Furnace. I'm currently playing still in Easy Mode, so does it need Hard Mode to craft those things or what's the deal?

I'm not sure which wikis you've been using but there are no obsidian bars. You can use obsidian in its "raw" form to make an obsidian skull and other items or you can use it to craft hellstone bars (also requires hellstone).
