I CANT GET ONE, I HAVE 5 HARPY BANNERS

Get a Vilethorn spell, make a sky-bridge, and runn back an forth getting as many harpies as you can to follow you. Use Vilethorn when a bunch are cluse together so that more will spawn. It shouldn't take long to get a Giant Harpy feather; harpies are a lot easier to grind off of than a number of other enemies like Undead Miners and Voodoo Demons.

Build your harpy area, place a candle on a platform. Wait for a bloodmoon and kill them all night. After about 150-250 regular feathers a giant will drop. I've farmed a few of them now.

Sweet jesus, ive ground up a ton of these things.. got two stacks of banners+. I dont think this thing drops, im just in disbelief.

edit:just shortly after this comment, i freakin get one. Sweet jesus boys its possible
