King Slime spawn conditions

Please tell me any other conditions to spawn him, besides being on the edge of a world.

King Slime has a 1 in 300 chance of spawning in place of another slime while the player is located in the two outer thirds of the map (the far left or far right).

A Water Candle and/or the Battle Potion can speed up the process of encountering it.

It is also summoned with the Slime Crown, which is crafted with 1 crown and 99 gel at a demon alter/crimson alter

Slimes only spawn during the day so King slime will only spawn during the day. Unless your using Slime crown, i believe.

If you have another Slime Crown then he should. As for spawning naturally, I don't know.
