Is there any way to turn off some of the visual effects for various armor and accessories?
Like I wouldn't mind being able to turn off the werewolf visual effect every time it's night time, or the swarm of little beetles around me from the beetle armor.

nope, and no mods im aware of do that. however disabling visibility on the moon charm MIGHT disable the werewolf effect

You can disable the buff I suppose by right-clicking them.

Hrm. Yeah, the right clicking the buff worked, but then it just kicked in again and spawned more beetles. lol Oh well.
