well u sorta can and sorta cant, in order to do that u need the clementater, with green solution. u would need to purify every corrupted spot on ur server. thats really the only way that i know of so far.

its slow way.. i said i wanted fastest way

there might be a terraria mod that allows u to edit ur world.

the fastest way imo (assuming your endgame) is to get the best pick you can, drink a mining potion, get a clentaminator with lots of green solution (ammo reservation counts for it, so use that if you can) then remove all the crimson/corruption/hallow you rememeber by spraying all over the place, then dig to cure the rest of the c/c/h you missed. there is absloutely no fast way to do this, but there is a fastest way, which is obviously just a bit faster then other methods. arguably no fastest way, so i wouldnt bother looking for a good one and use your time to try and get all the c/c/h

Clentamitaor, I would suggest spreading hallow to your whole world before hardmode and leave one corrupted biome to farm souls in
Leave the jungle just surronded by hallow though

I believe there's a world editor, but I don't know what it's called.

removing the whole biome is kinda pointless in the end, i mean, sure, you get much less of a threat to a peaceful world. but you have plenty of room to build your "town" of npcs. simply just build a hellevator between the biomes, thats it. no threat to your buildings. however, if you simply insist on it, feel free to use a world editor or waste your time using a clentaminator

You asked for the fastest, and that's the fastest.

You got a lot of work ahead of you my friend,
First you kill plantera to slow it down, then contain in so it won't spread by digging map sized tunnels, then you have to spray green solution on every single infected block from surface to underworld, even then you WILL miss a few blocks, so it's likely that it'll spread again.
It's doable but very time consuming.

Also ammo for the clentaminator is expensive as hell in large quantities.

It would be nice if they add something in 1.3 to help with this. Lots of players have complained about their worlds getting overrun once you go into hardmode.

It's actually not so bad if you don't mind your world being hollow.
Just spread blue solution everywhere and kill the corruption/crimson. Your world will look shiny and you won't lose your jungle biome.
