Can't equip the Mysterious Cape in the social slot!

Hi. I bought the Mysterious Cape from the Travelling Merchant for 5 gold and, now, as much as I try, it won't equip in the social slots. I have tried taking everything off and equipping it, but nothing works, apart from equipping it in an accessories slot, which I don't want to do to provide space for items that actually provide usefulness. Any ideas?

There's no fix, because it's not a bug. You aren't stupid for assuming that this and other cloaks/capes would be relegated to a Vanity slot rather than take up a valuable Accessory slot, but hey, what can ya do?

This is for anyone who needs help and sees this in the future if u have a sheild click on the eyeball top right of the accessory square and it disables the appearance of it then put the cape/cloak next to it in the social slot if u dont want wings either just disable them although it will still show if u fly only doesnt on the ground hope this helped!
