AFK Hardmode Dungeon Ectoplasm Farm
Hi Crew, HappyDays here!

Ectoplasm is used for heaps of end-game armor, equipment and the Pumpkin/Frost Moon summoning items! AFK farming for Ectoplasm in the Dungeon can be tough with so many mobs that can fire through walls!

This easy to make trap can safely farm Ectoplasm while keeping you safe and killing large amounts of Dungeon mobs fully AFK! You'll even get accessories in the process!

All you need is some buckets of lava, some traps, this video and some wire and you're set! Try it out, you won't be disappointed! Enjoy :)

Check it out here:

Thanks for watching! Can we get 7 likes for chilling in the dungeon?

Stay Happy :)

This happy soul knows how to wire. A skill I never officially learned. It is magic.

Hi Ninjathis! Thanks for that. For a long time I wouldn't touch the stuff but now it's really fun...most the time lol! :P

I think you already know my thoughts on this one :)

Hey GuyThatDies!
It's really nice to be able to lazily farm dungeon instead of running around like crazy :)

That's quite interesting. I love my dungeon farm as it looks awesome, but it's definitely not an AFKer.

I never considered building a dungeon AFK farm... I usually just hide in an alcove while casting rain clouds to rain on the mobs gathering below...

And out of curiosity, does it work in any of the three segments of the dungeon or just one?

Hey guys! Yes the AFK Dungeon farm is where it's at, so relaxing! :)

Torchfire, it's easiest to build near the entrance because it's naturally thin and vertical (less work for you) however you can build it at any level.
If you go low enough in the Dungeon you'll even get Souls of Light/Night with enough Hallow/Corruption blocks present! (see my Light/Night Soul farm for an awesome Biome switch!)

Stay Happy :)

Wait happy what happens when there are those flying skulls? how do they die?
HappyDays Jan 20, 2015 @ 6:13pm
The little ones get dealt with by the ravens when they try to ram you. The larger ones projectiles get blocked by the ravens and it dies when it uses its ram attack.
Thankfully they are a rare mob or I'd need more flame traps underneath to deal with them! :)

Great question! :)
