Removing Corruption
Hi, im trying to reduce spread of this stuff as much as i can but i'm a bit confused because whenever i clear WHOLE part of Corruption with Clentaminator (probably 3-4 chasms and some tunnels beneath), when i go back to chceck thing out, a new block (or wall) is turning into corruption AGAIN outta nowhere, spreading it like crazy. So i wanna ask where did this corrupted block came from. Is that because chasms are there from start or what? (I know that when you smash Demon Altar, one random block will turn corrupted)

A 3 block gap is enough actually. Hallow, Corruption, and Crimson can only 'jump' 3 blocks from their source block. If you line/fill the gap with blocks that cannot be converted, such as Brick or Wood, this also prevents things like corruption thorns from possibly spreading it.

yes, the blocks can only jump 3 blocks away but corruption grows thorns which snake their way over and extend the reach., which is why i said you need to make the shaft wider.

...however, i was unaware of the rope trick the next guy just posted, blocking the thorns with rope.
it would take a LOT of rope but it might be quicker that way.

You technically just need to make the rope reach from the start of the underground (where grass no longer grows) to maybe 3 times the player hight above the surface. That is enough to stop the thorns. But personally, I use ropes on the entire length of my hellevators (not the with, though, unless they pass through a spider den, in which case it stops cobwebs from spawning inside the shaft) to enable easy ascent.
You're already in hardmode so this won't be of as much use to you, but if you are in a pre-hardmode world and you want to contain Corruption or Crimson early on (a very good idea, IMO) then one thing you could do is to go to another world that is already in hardmode, get some Hallowed Seeds from the Dryad NPC, and plant them in your pre-hardmode world on the left and right boundaries of your Corruption or Crimson biome.

You can do the same with your jungle in order to ensure its protection once you've entered into hardmode.

If not, you can always try doing something like this:

another way to stop the spiderwebs spawning is to use a hammer to remove the spider biome walls
