Terra Blade worth it?

Asking this as I already attack faster and have more knockback with melee weapons and I have the Golem Fist. Doing roughly 70-100 damage rapidly and knocking enemies into next week.

I looked at the recipe and found that it would be vary tedious and grindy to get, while already having the Golem Fist, is the Terra Blade still worth grinding for?

I am skilled enough to beat all the bosses as is, so I'm not really sure if I should even bother.

I find it useful more mid-hardmode, but it's still nice to have because it's awesome. Probably not worth GRINDING for, but if you have to stuff do it.
I find Terra Blade better than Golem Fist to be honest.

Well...Golem fist has more attack rate, you can spam-hit enemies and kill them in an instant. They're both good in they're own way I think. But with my play style, I think I might just forget getting every biomes weapons just to get a Terra Blade.

What I mean by grinding is that I threw away my old weapons thinking I'd not need them anymore, just to find out that in the next update they added a weapon that needs (pretty much) every sword in the game.

GETTING TERRA BLADE IS WORTH IT.

IT IS THE MOST OVERPOWERED SWORD IN HARDMODE.
NOT TO MENTION THE FACT THAT IT ALSO SHOOTS OUT OTHER RAYS OF SWORDS.
BUT ITS REALLY HARD TO GET SO ONLY GET IT IF YOU ARE FULLY MOTIVATED INTO IT.

I don't like it for much except forced 1 directionspawn farming... (Lava wall/lava lake to your left and only spawns from the right or something).

It's definitely better than the Golem Fist, to say the least. If you're a melee character, you should definitely consider making one, since it's one of the best melee weapons in the game.

I crafted a Terra Blade once. I tested it, then stashed it into a chest and never took out again. It's mostly the lack of the "auto-attack" capability that stopped me from using it regularly.

If you're talking about the lack of "hold down the left mouse button" auto-swing, they corrected it already. In fact, with the right equipment, you can shoot a crazy number of piercing Terra Beams per second!

Thanks. I didn't even notice this. Probably since it has been a couple of updates since I crafted the thing... Maybe I will use it now.

Well it's not that it's difficult, I'd just find it boring to get, as I already own everything, every boss, and every enemy, so that's why I have been calling it grinding. :/
