Crimson & Clay..

Can the Crimson spread through clay? My Crimson is right next to my jungle, and a normal 'Green' biome, and I heard somewhere that Crimson passes through Clay.. is this true? (Placed clay, not natural!) I'm also making 3 block walls, under and around the crimson is that enough?

No, no biomes can spread through clay.

Crimson cant spread throught clay? Awesome. It took over my other world right after I entered hardmode.

Purification powder or cleminator. Or lick it clean with the Lick Ness Monster Minion. You get it by killing mimics. Its a 1/10000 chance. Try it. Its really good. If you throw dirt onto where you want the corruption gone, it licks it all up. It like a 100 x 100 area so its pretty easy to clear a lot of the corruption/crimson.

Is there an easier way? To still keep the Crimson but contain it somehow?

Surround the part you want to keep with cobalt blocks.

Bricks of any kind will stop the corruption, as long as its 4 wide.

Alright, but I just finished the huge bowl.. Is there anyway to use a command on a tShock server to change a certain block to another? Kind of like WorldEdit on minecraft?

The easiest way to contain Crimson/Corruption with little effort is to plant hallow everywhere.

Some strange people view that as just another corruption, though.

Making a 4 wide pit straight down to hell will prevent the crimson/corruption from spreading past that point, unless a seed is created on the other side by smashing an altar.
