the space gun cant damage blocks, try to get that into your thick head.
happy halloween ^_^
I shouldn't be surprised though. Naturally people tend to judge others based on their own mind, and a desire to feel like the smartest guy around makes them unable to assume they might not be.
i personally really like it. besides i like to collect baits while cutting grass with sickle too xD
as I said, sickles dont remove grass blocks.
same as the space gun, it doesnt work.
this is grass.[terraria.gamepedia.com]
you can hit it with anything you want, IT WONT BREAK. unless you use a pickaxe or a bomb, you cannot break grass with attacks.
its like you never played terraria.
says the guy who doesnt even know the difference between grass (block) and grass (weeds).
sebastian either your #1 a troll #2 or too stupid to understand simple text.
The thread was never about BLOCKS it was about grass. See the difference ? No blocks are not grass and grass are not blocks. Grass grows ON blocks.
Jeez some people ....
Besides if he wanted to remove grass growing on blocks why doesnt he just put non growing blocks on dirt ? Its really that simple ...
Grass cant grow on stone blocks so you can put them on top of dirt blocks :P
I dont get whats so complicated to turn a grown block into a normal dirt block. And where is the benefit ? Grass is very beneficial so normally you want that grass grows. It got bait and materials and occasionally pumpkins or mushrooms etc. All useful for alchemists.
@ op if you really talked about transforming grown blocks back into simple dirt blocks your really bad at explaining. Removing grass usually includes just cutting it. If you wanted to remove a grown block then you should just remove the entire block. And that means remove dirt blocks and not just grass. Since dirt blocks will regrow grass the next time when other plants are nearby, so that request seems pointless.
so OP is obviously referring to what the wiki simply calls "grass".
he also says "one-click each block", which is the way to remove grass (block) and turn it into dirt.
so, no, you are the idiot.
Since the op seems to be bad at english and not good at explaining. There are two types of grass so to speak. The actual plant which got random different forms and can be removed buy any weapon and the "plague" which turns simple dirt blocks into blocks which are grown on. But thats not named grass. Grass is the plant and not the block . So op should change his post altogether and just say how to cure DIRT BLOCKS from any form of growth.
Op dont mention grass since thats not what your referring to. Grass is the plant and not the changed block. Maybe there should be a different name for dirt blocks which are "plagued" by growth. And only cause that the wiki calls the turned dirt blocks to growth blocks grass doesnt make the matter any better. Thats just a misinterpretation....
and when stuff grows on them, the block IDs change. this can be easily observed with Tedit for example.
if the block IDs change, you have another block. so yes, there is something called grass and yes, it is a block.
no, you need to hit it once to turn the block from grass to dirt.
I did. the weeds on top of the grass block broke, but the block did not turn into dirt as you said it would.
ok, its settled. you are trolling.
nobody can be this dumb.
gonna stop feeding the troll now. bye.
